IIT Indore and IIM Indore host the Second Annual i-5 Summit

The summit focused on the ways in which the internet has revolutionized the industry and the market

 
Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) recently hosted the Second Annual i-5 Summit.  Organised by IIM Indore and the Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) the i-5 Summit is a start up fest, which seeks to act as a platform that helps launch early stage start ups and supports new entrepreneurs.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Group, stated, "The internet has provided a platform for every individual to stand alike, at the same level. It has provided a common path to gain knowledge in a similar way, without restriction, at lower cost." Pai was the keynote speaker at the summit.
 
"The summit aims to encourage entrepreneurship among primarily the students of IIM along with the budding risk-takers across the nation. IIM-I and IIT-I Indore always look for such opportunities to work together and will look for the same in the future," stated Rishikesha T Krishnan, director, IIM Indore. IIM Indore will soon launch an incubator for start-ups he added.
 
The summit focused on the ways in which the internet has revolutionized the industry and the careers of budding entrepreneurs, providing a wide variety of avenues and opportunities for everyone. Ravi Venkatasan, Chairman Bank of Baroda stated, 'The world has changed tremendously. Fifty years ago, the best job was being a government employee but present world is of endless possibilities."
