The visit saw the team interacting with students about admissions of foreign students to the elite institutions
A team from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is visiting Nepal. The four member team which will include members for different IITs interacted with school students and advised them on how to tackle the Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE). The team also spoke to students about the admissions of foreign students to the premier institutes and the prospects that lie in store for them.
The team also visited a number of educational institutions in Nepal such as Institute of Engineering College, Pulchowk; Kathmandu University, Dulikhel; Rai School, Modern Indian School, DAV School, and KV School, Kathmandu.
The team was also hosted by the Embassy of India's B.P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation which conducted a special talk programme for the IIT professors on August 27, 2016 at the Nepal-Bharat Maitri Library in Kathmandu.
