The agreemt calls for a two week accelerator programme in Moscow
The Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has entered into a pact with the Global Venture Alliance (GVA), Moscow. The agreement calls for a bilateral Entrepreneurship Programme called the “India Russia Bridge for Innovations”.
As per the agreement, the latter half of September will see ten start ups from India that will take part in a two week accelerator programme in Moscow. The programme will also include components based on educational, cultural and networking aspects of the Russian market. The programme will also introduce to the Russian market, the government of India’s initiatives such as Start-Up India, Make in India and Digital India. This is the first programme of its kind between India and Russia stated a release from IIT Bombay and is co sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and GVA.
According to sources the programme is open to start u[s focused of medicine and applications, energy, Internet of Things, energy, education and retail.
