Intel to deliver digital literacy

Intel has also launched their Digital Skills Training applications which has modules for the rural demographic such as Jan Dhan Yojana

Intel India will be promoting digital literacy in the country with plans for training individuals at the panchayat levels. Around a 1,000 villages will be receiving broadband connectivity under the National Optic Fibre Network. Debjani Ghosh, Managing Director Intel South Asia, stated that this was part of the company’s Digital Skills for India programme.

Intel will aim to educate at least 5 million Indians by 2015 in colloboration with the Bharat Broadband Network Ltd. Intel has also launched their Digital Skills Training applications which have information and modules for the rural demographic such as Jan Dhan Yojana, healthcare, pre-natal health and cleanliness.
