Avinash C Pandey of Allahabad University has been appointed as the new VC of Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.
Avinash C Pandey, head of the department of Atmospheric and Ocean Sciences and coordinator of Nanotechnology Application Centre (NAC) of Allahabad University has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.
Governor of Uttar Pradesh and chancellor of University BL Joshi has signed on his appointment letter and sent to Allahabad University. He has been appointed V-C for a period of three years from his date of joining.
Prof Pandey has done his MTech in Computer Science, DPhil, Associate (ICTP) and principal investigator (PI) in more than 25 externally funded research projects worth multi-crore rupees at K Banerjee Centre of Atmospheric & Ocean Studies, MN Saha Centre of Space Studies. He also played a major role in the development of the state-of-the art advanced technology research centre Nanotechnology Application Centre (NAC).
