AICTE has announced the dual degree programme in management and an integrated management programme. The Chairman of AICTE - SS Mantha said student can get dual degree of bachelors and masters programme under the dual degree programme.
Besides this, students can also drop-off for a job as mid-level manager and then return to finish their course. A student can take to a job after completing his three-year bachelor programme in management or he can continue one year of the masters’ programme and get accumulated credit for advanced management and then take the job.
Talking about the integrated management programme, the chairman said it can be pursued by engineering students, architect or hotel management students under the technical stream.
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. It is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India.
