Automed Systems Launches Centre For Life Sciences

The Centre for Life Sciences- Probiosys is pegged as the country's first finishing school for students of life sciences who will be ready employable talent for the biotech and pharma industry. With a vision to provide professional training to life science professionals, this centre will also act as a technology incubation centre




India's leading lab automation company Automed Systems Private Limited has announced the launch of Probiosys Center for Excellence with an initial investment of Rs 80 million which will scale upto Rs 400 to 500 million over the next three years. Probiosys is a premier career advancement center for the pharmaceutical and life science professionals, promoting and facilitating perpetual learning. This centre will also act as a technology incubation center with a focus on industrial and workforce interface.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhanu Prakash, MD and CEO, Automed Systems Private Limited said "With the increasing demand for qualified life sciences professionals in India, the availability of quality talent is decreasing. To minimise and eventually eliminate this gap, at Probiosys our endeavor is to impart training in emerging technology, high end automation and international quality procedures for meeting real time industrial and research environment requirements. We aspire to be the knowledge repository for the life science industry help in bridging the skill gap amongst graduates and domain experts."
