Dr K.P. Thooyamani has been instrumental in nurturing young talent and in imparting knowledge in the fields of research and academics


For his remarkable contribution in the field of education, Star News has conferred Dr K.P. Thooyamani, Vice Chancellor, Bharath University, with National B-school Award. He has been awarded for his leadership, development, marketing an institute and industry interface of business school.

The award recognises institutions that are innovative, modern and industry-related in charting the curriculum for fields like marketing, advertising and marketing communications.

Thooyamani has been instrumental in nurturing young talent and imparting knowledge in the fields of research and academics to the students.

Thooyamani said, “I am pleased to receive this honour. This award motivates me to drive myself further in the field of education. I thank all my fellow teachers and colleagues at Bharath University for their support. As an institution, we provide holistic education and prepare students to the challenging real world environment.”

He has over three decades of experience in the field of education and teaching. He started his career as an assistant professor in a college after completing his engineering in the field of Computer Science. His passion for research enabled him to develop software and present papers at the international level.
