Bhutan invites IIM-A to start institute

It is expected that the institute will cater students from other countries as well like Pakistan, Thailand and Bangladesh


Premier Business School of the country- Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) may starts its campus in neighbouring country Bhutan. The government of Bhutan has invited institute to start educational activities in their country.

The director of IIM-A, Samir Barua said, "Institute is seriously considering a proposal to start the institute which will offer full time regular Master in Business Administration (MBA) programme." He said that initially, we are gauging sustainability of the institute.
However, Bhutan has assured that institute will cater students from other countries as well like Pakistan, Thailand and Bangladesh, he adds.
