EFLU to have regular VC soon

The Union Minister of state for human resource development D Purandeswari said that EFLU will soon get a regular vice chancellor.


A search committee has been set to propose a name for regular vice-chancellor for Hyderabad based English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU). The Union Minister of state for human resource development D Purandeswari said that EFLU will soon get a regular vice chancellor.
The EFLU run into several controversies in the past few months and a majority of the students have been attributing most of its problems to the absence of a regular vice-chancellor.
The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), formerly the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), is a Central University in India. Its main campus is located in Hyderabad. It also operates campuses at Lucknow and Shillong. It is the only University in India catering exclusively to the teaching/learning of Foreign Languages.
