MMA awards annual excellence in managerial thinking, action and demonstrable results to companies and institutions in India’s southern states


Great Lakes Institute of Management, one of the leading B-schools in India, has been conferred the prestigious MMA Award for Managerial Excellence (MAME) 2011 by the Madras Management Association (MMA) in the category of educational institutions.

The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Shanker Annaswamy, Managing Director, IBM India Private Limited and members from Great Lakes and MMA.

MMA promotes sound management knowledge, experience and ideas in various disciplines and awards annual excellence in managerial thinking, action and demonstrable results to companies and institutions that have their corporate or registered office in any of the Southern states of India: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Professor S. Sriram, Executive Director, Great Lakes Institute of Management, said, “This award represents the success of our overall management strategy and signifies how we have directed the various disciplines of management in a focused manner to meet our objectives.”
