IBS Pune Ties Up With Australian University

IBS, Pune, and Macquarie University, Sydney, will soon take steps to implement the MoU


Professor Dhananjay Keskar, Director of IBS Pune and Professor Steven Schwartz, Vice Chancellor of Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish academic collaboration.

Macquarie University, is a leading Australian university, established in 1964. It is currently ranked 9th in Australia. The faculty of business and economics offers an innovative, flexible and specialized mix of disciplines within the four departments of accounting, applied finance and actuarial studies, business, and economics.

IBS Pune is a constituent of The Icfaian Foundation. It was established in 1996 and offers a two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM). The school has a network of management schools at various locations in India.

The school has recently won the ‘Best Industry Interface’ and also ‘Business School with Best Academic Input (Syllabus) in Operations & Manufacturing’ in the 'Dewang Mehta Business School Awards'. It has been ranked 37th by Silicon India in its non-IIM B-schools survey.

Both the colleges have said that they shall soon take steps to implement the MoU.
