IIM Ahmedabad to start Course in Publishing

IIM A, the first B-school in India to start a course in publishing, and Frankfurt Book Fair recently signed an MoU start the programme


The Indian Institute of Management Ahmadabad (IIMA) and Frankfurt Book Fair signed an MoU last week to start a short-term programme in media and publishing.

Last year, the two had partnered to conduct a five-day capsule course in publishing. Later, they decided to launch a short-term course, said Frankfurt Book Fair President and CEO Juergen Boos.

The course covers finance, technology, human resources and leadership, among other areas. Each batch will have 30 students. The course fee is Rs 1.20 lakh.
