Hughes Communications India Ltd. and the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML) have together launched Executive Programme for Young Managers (EPYM) on the Hughes Interactive Onsite Learning platform to bring about a 360-degree transformation in managerial skills and to enable personal and professional evolution.
The programme has been designed according to the dynamics of the developing volatile markets, changing regulatory structures and widely varying government systems which present unparalleled challenges to managers, specifically targeting the functional professionals who are looking towards broadening their roles and horizons, and for entrepreneurs whose roles on work front are constantly evolving.
A challenging learning environment will help students create an enabling ecosystem where ideas can be exchanged and researched by students.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Punam Sahgal, Indian Institute of Management Lucknow said, “The focus of EYPM is on imparting lessons through real life case-studies that will enable a quicker transition towards becoming a more successful and skilled professional.”
“Management programmes need to help equip a new breed of managers and would-be entrepreneurs not just with the skill-sets and ability to plan and execute the right strategies but also combine this with the right mindset for sustainable organizational and personal success,” said Partho Banerjee of Hughes Communications India Ltd.
EPYM will be offered through the Interactive Onsite Learning (IOL) platform of Hughes Global Education, a leader in executive education in India. The platform seamlessly integrates the strengths and advantages of the traditional method of education with the latest in technology. Using a very powerful interface, Hughes Global Education enables a student to have highly interactive sessions with students and instructors all over the country, using video, voice and data, for corporate and working professionals throughout India.
The participants would also work on a Capstone Project which would concentrate on enhancing the practical side of the learning process, to allow participants to further internalise managerial concepts and to develop creative and applicable solutions.
