GILD, the fastest growing network for technology professionals, released its first GILD Talent Report for the Indian market. The report is a comprehensive analysis covering over one lakh IT professionals who are also active members of the GILD network.

Since its launch in April 2010, GILD has gained huge popularity among IT professionals across the world and has over two lakh members.

The GILD Report is the first industry report to analyse the quality of skills possessed by professionals across universities, companies and metro in the country. It compares the quality of talent graduating from colleges and the skills of professionals employed in India. Some of its highlights include: IIT Delhi as the top university for IT graduates in India, Tata Consultancy Services with the highest company ranking and the largest pool of qualifies professionals, C programming language as the most popular and available technology skill across the country, Sapient company with the fastest increase in company rankings, and Bangalore as home to the largest number of GILD professionals.
