Leaving behind his 150 classmates, an Indian scholar has topped in Oxford University's postgraduate programme. Alumnus of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, Niranjan V has topped in three of the four courses, including Conflict of Law, Restitution, Personal Taxation and Law of Evidence.
Niranjan V, a Rhodes Scholar, had opted for Bachelor of Civil Law course. He said, "I have done hard work to achieve my goal. The course is taught so well that even the huge workload becomes a pleasure.”
Son of a chartered accountant, Niranjan, is working under a senior advocate in the Madras high court. He desired to pursue law from Oxford University, where students can access to some of the world's best academic facilities and world's leading legal scholars.
