Padma Shri can not be added as initial to name
Dear Friend, It is indeed good news that such a renowned person has been appointed Director General of IMI. CONGRATS ... But I am sorry to say that the editor of EDU should avoid putting "Padam Shri" to the name of Dr Pritam Singh. If I am not wrong then as per Government of India regulations, any PADMA award should not be added as initial to the recipient name. The award name should have been avoided as initial to Dr Pritam Singh. Thanks
