ISB&M School of Communication Awarded for Excellence in Education

The school has been conferred with Indy’s and Star News’ awards for excellence in mass communication


The ISB&M School of Communication has been awarded for its outstanding contribution in the field of education for 2010. The awards include the Indy's Award for 'Best B-school with Academic Input Syllabus in Mass Communication' and the 'Star News’ Best B-School Award with Industry-related Curriculum in Communications'.

Recently, the school also released its placement results for the batch of 555-5555. The results showed a 30% increase over the previous year in the number of on-campus offers. The batch comprised of 120 students from diverse backgrounds out of which more than 80% have already been placed. Amongst the recruiters were corporates like the Times Of India, Zee TV, GroupM, Adfactors PR, Genesis BM, O&M, OMD, Vivaki, Communicate 2.0, Big Synergy.

Dr Ujjwal K. Chowdhury, Executive Director, ISB&M School of Communication, said, "This has been another amazing year of achievement for us. It shows the confidence that the industry has shown in ISB&M School of Communication and in the quality of education that we provide. We assure them that we will continue to bring forth high achievers with the talent and the determination to excel, which is so vital for success in today's highly competitive media business environment."
