ISM Launches India Operations

The institute has branches in Gurgaon and Bangalore and plans to extend it across the country


Institute for Supply Management (ISM) USA, the largest supply management association in the world, has recently set up its affiliate in India. A not-for-profit organisation, the institute aims at leading supply management in 75 countries.

ISM has 40,000 members worldwide. By executing and extending its mission through education, research, standards of excellence, influence building and information dissemination; it continues to extend the global impact of supply management.

ISM USA was set up in 1915 and has affiliates in Japan, South Korea, China, Philippines and Bangladesh. It offers credentialing to professionals around the world with the Certified Professional in Supply Management qualification. ISM India is headed by Krishan K Batra who has worked with private and public sectors including United Nations in 45 countries in handling Supply Chain Management activities. ISM-India presently has chapters in Gurgaon and Bangalore and plans to extend it across the country.
