Good to know this development. NSD has produced great talent. But it has miserably failed to expand theatre education. The seats that are available to theatre aspirants are very low. Imagine, even an actor like Manoj Bajpai was denied admission for several years. They need to expand and also add UG programs. Perhaps, a 4 year dual degree in collaboration with a local university will be great. It means that NSD should come forward to facilitate a 4 year integrated program comprising of BA Theatre from NSD and any other UG from a collaborating University.
