President appoints Prof Nachane 2nd Chancellor of MU

Prof Nachane is currently a Professor Emeritus in Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai.
Prof Nachane Dilip Madhukar has been appointed as the Second Chancellor of Manipur University. An order of this regard has been issued by the president of India. According to note, he will hold the office for five years.
Prof Nachane is currently a Professor Emeritus in Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai. He is also the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar National Fellow, Honorary Felow Institure of South Asian Studies, University of Singapore and Honorary Fellow of Indian School of Political Economy.
Prof Nachane also has to his credit of publication of six books and ninety four research articles in journal of repute.
