RGNIYD Introduces PG Courses for Youth Development

The institute will also undertake training and research in the fields of youth and adolescent development


Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), on the basis of the deemed status, has introduced five postgraduate programmes for youth development, according to Ajay Maken, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports.

The institute was granted deemed status under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 on October 3, 2008.

The programmes include M.A. Corporate Sociology, M.A. Youth Resource Management, M.A. Development Management, M.A. Social Work and Social Policy, and M.A. Policy Research and Evaluation. 

Maken said that in addition to these programmes, the institute will also undertake training and research in the fields of youth and adolescent development.
