Sony launches corporate varsity campus in Singapore

Japanese electronics giant Sony has launched a corporate university campus in Singapore. This is the first university outside Japan. The campus, in the International Business Park in Jurong, will train middle and senior executives for positions in Asia Pacific and emerging markets such as India, China, Vietnam and the Middle East.
According to plan, the company will invest about $3.5 million over the next three years in the campus. Classes will commence in March 2012, with an expected annual enrollment of 70-100 international students.
