Swiss institute looking for tie-up in India

About a dozen students of Zurich-based institution have developed a prototype of the robot over a period of eight months at an estimated cost of 50,000 Swiss francs.


 

Swiss Federal Institute of Technology is keen to tie-up with Indian academic institution to further develop ‘Rezero’, a prototype robot. The Head of the Science & Technology Section at the Swiss Embassy- Mattia Celio said "They (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) are looking for academic collaborations in India. There are immense possibilities that can be explored with the robot."
About a dozen students of Zurich-based institution have developed a prototype of the robot over a period of eight months at an estimated cost of 50,000 Swiss francs. A student said, "This robot can be used for many purposes, including for carrying medical equipment in hospitals as well as heavy things," Recently, Rezero was showcased at the Swiss Embassy.
