edX course on Signals and Systems by IIT Bombay

The curriculum will cover signals and systems, characterization of Linear Shift Invariant Systems, convolution and Fourier Transform

IIT Bombay has launched a two-part course on Signals and Systems on the edX platform to help students and learners understand the basics of any signal processing application. The course delves into the abstraction of signals and systems, from the point of view of analysis and characterization. Signals and Systems, Part 1, an 8-week course, will start on January 15, 2015. The curriculum will cover various properties of signals and systems, characterization of Linear Shift Invariant Systems, convolution and Fourier Transform. Signals and Systems, Part 2 is an 8-week course starting on April 2, 2015. The course will deal with the Sampling theorem, Z-Transform, discrete Fourier transform and Laplace transform.

Anant Agarwal, CEO, edX stated to the media "India is an important market for us, and is home to the largest population of edX learners outside of the United States. We are pleased that IIT Bombay has launched its courses on our platform. Systems and Signals Part 1&2 are excellent courses which can help learners around the world".
